Can I change my Medicare plan whenever I want?

Usually, no. Most Medicare plan changes must take place during an allowed enrollment period, such as the Annual Election Period, Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period, or a Special Enrollment Period. You can change your Medicare supplement plan at any time of the year.
