Does Medicare cover 100% of medical expenses?

No. Medicare does not cover every medical expense. Under Original Medicare, many Part B services are subject to the Part B deductible and generally 20% coinsurance. Medicare does not simply pay 80% of every medical bill. Your costs depend on the service, provider, deductible, coinsurance, and any additional coverage you have.
